Go Gray or Not to Go Gray - Is that really a question?

How many of us face this question as we age? It may come early in our life or in

our later years. I dyed my hair for many years. (Many different colors). During

COVID, I thought, why not now. . .Always wondered how it would look, but

because I was still working (and my husband felt it would be better to look

younger for my career), I never had the guts to do it.

THE DECISION:

ree

Why not? I wore my hair short anyways and it grows fast. The only people who

would see me was on Zoom. . . so I went for it. Let’s embrace what God has given

me. It actually came out several different shades of gray and white. Looked more like I had it done deliberately.

COVID IS OVER . . . NOW WHAT?

I actually liked it. (Not sure whether my husband ever embraced it). It was a lot

cheaper when I went to my hairdresser. Now all I had to worry about was a

haircut.

OOPS . . . 2 ND THOUGHTS

Yep. . . a year later and there are those nagging 2 nd thoughts. (Also, my husband

kept reminding me how nice it looked on our wedding day – 10 years ago. Yeh. . .I

looked nicer than too). Do I go back to red? Do I put more white in it? I know . .

.it’s big problem in the scheme of things NOT.

FINAL DECISION

Spoke to my hairdresser and she decided it for me. It would fade really fast on

gray hair if I dyed it and would have to do more often. Nope too lazy and cheap

for that. I’m embracing my gray!
